It was way back in 1897 when Giovanni Battista Barazzoni opened a small artisan workshop in Invorio, in the province of Novara, making tin, brass, and copper household items. This self-employed business officially became a company in 1903. Since then, generation after generation, we have carried forward the same values of 120 years ago, always keeping alive and vital what has most characterized Barazzoni since its inception: a vision of the future and a love of design. A future that design can often foresee and, concretely, anticipate.
"Innovate in thinking, designing, manufacturing, and managing the company system," are the words of President Andrea Barazzoni, the cornerstone of our modus operandi. Alongside tradition, innovation has always been of fundamental importance; it's no coincidence that we were the first Italian company to introduce design into the production of pots and pans. The result of this combination? It's still one of Barazzoni's flagship lines: the TUMMY line , designed by Ennio Lucini and winner of the prestigious Compasso d'Oro award in 1979 in the Home Furnishings and Accessories category.

A curriculum rich in awards and recognitions
Since the 1970s, design has been a fundamental part of Barazzoni, which has always prided itself on producing innovative and high-quality products. To ensure the highest standards for our cookware and kitchen products, we have an in-house design studio with a renowned art director, architect and designer Claudio Bellini, and we collaborate with other prestigious Italian and international designers.

A Historic Brand that Looks to the Future
Barazzoni's design journey is at the heart of the company's ongoing commitment to combining tradition with innovation, functionality with aesthetics, and performance in the kitchen with quality of life. While the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy recognized Barazzoni as a Historic Brand on March 10, 2023, thus recognizing our loyalty to the values that have accompanied us for 120 years, our pursuit of new goals in innovation and design remains unchanged.
